Since we also have a bungalow:
Roof: You can also store things excellently under a cold roof. Don't underestimate the storage space; you will urgently need it. By the way, we built a half-hipped roof and thus have really nice space.

Utility room: Don't put it next to a bedroom. When the heater switches on or the washing machine runs, it can be very disturbing. No thick wall will help you there. The noise goes right through the door. Also, it gets quite warm in there. A dryer can heat the room up quite quickly. You don't need to store food there.

Hallway: I personally am a big fan of "round" hallways. That way, you don't have to herd your guests through a narrow corridor and have some space yourself to put down groceries or something without having to jump over them. Don't forget your wardrobe!

Bathroom: Whether you absolutely need a guest bathroom is a matter of opinion. I just find it nicer if I don't have to put away my bra when visitors come.

Maybe check if the square shape is really necessary. An L-shape is much easier to furnish and you immediately have a covered terrace.

I have attached our floor plan so you know what I mean by a round hallway.

I find your approach grounded and you can see that you have already refined your floor plan, above all I am really impressed by the graphical representation. How nice it would be to see something like that more often! You are 28, life is ahead of you. I agree with and would also imagine something a bit "fresher" in your situation, without having to increase the budget. What is really important here is an individual planning for your situation. If a wife, child(ren), dog, lottery win are added, everything will change again anyway. In such a house you can also live as two or three, maybe a woman WITH a house or from outside will come, and much more. Regarding the building style/design, I would step away a bit from the usual standard and not build like everyone next door. Of course, you only see houses at model home exhibitions that are intended to be sold to a large number of people, but you have a different approach with your situation. As mentioned above, in simple lightweight construction, interior spaces can be made usable—you just sometimes have to move away from the standard specifications. In the forum, people would surely be happy to help you if a general contractor is somewhat slow in the planning/design process. Are you actually already committed to a construction company? Maybe a gas heating system with radiators would be a significantly cheaper solution as has excellently implemented in her house, for example, we will have an infrared heating system, deliberately without underfloor heating, but you would then have to take a photovoltaic system on the roof right away. Or maybe a wood heating system, if you had an open living area... Much depends on your priorities but especially in the area of technology, nowadays people often overdo it, so it is at least worth thinking about and checking YOUR OWN situation. Was it discarded by you or by WHOM? A general contractor might do that quickly because it is not a usual standard. It does not have to be so steep for a whole second floor. An open living space gives a totally different living feeling, more light and design possibilities; if sleeping has to be in the dark, then such a gallery can be used differently again. I would try to make the interior simply more open, flexible and free, without it necessarily having to become more expensive overall. But of course, it has to please YOU alone, but maybe it is worth it for Fich to take your time and plan something again in parallel/altered. Take a look at the floor plan or the partly open construction style of or floor plans from the Scandinavian company Fa. EBK. Of course, one does not really "need" open living spaces or other things, but what does one really "need"? I at least find it great. Would be worth a try...

To clarify briefly, I am a woman :) so if a man comes into my life, I am the woman with the house :D

And the company is already decided, the contract is already signed. The floor plan actually too, probably I am a bit late now with considerations that change everything.

actually I wanted an L at first, but for cost reasons it (unfortunately) became a rectangle. Whether prefabricated house or solid construction, as an L it was always over my budget

I’ll take a look at your ideas, maybe I can still implement some of them

Zoning: Swap the utility room and bathroom. At the end of the hallway, a separate storage room. Make sure there is 70 cm of space behind the bedroom door to place the wardrobe there.

the idea is good, but there is a door from the utility room leading outside under the carport. That would then be eliminated and I did not want to do without it.
