So far, we have not found an alternative staircase in many attempts; if there is a better option, I am open to suggestions.

From our brainstorming phase, I can contribute this floor plan - maybe it helps as a suggestion. Here is the ground floor with the hallway at the top-left corner and the kitchen in the middle (top). Of course, these two rooms can be swapped to better position the stairs to the upper floor. The two rooms at the bottom right can be combined, and instead the building projection of 8.5m can be omitted. The cloakroom space is located beneath the stairs.

Interesting, is there an upper floor for that as well?

Sort of, due to the development plan we do have an upper floor (75cm knee wall, 38° roof pitch), but we only use part of it as a home office/reading room. Since we are childless and wanted to live on the ground floor, we did not fully divide/develop the upper floor. However, I think depending on the location of the stairs it can be used well. Moreover, a 1m knee wall and 48° roof pitch is almost a full floor (especially if dormers are also allowed).

I still have three examples here... please don’t hold me to the exact measurements, square meters are rounded. The program still doesn’t show how the roof slopes will be handled, but roughly you can see what is possible. I didn’t want to get lost in details either, since I don’t know where the journey of the TEs might or should go or where the priorities definitely lie.
If there are questions, bring them on. For details, the architect should take over ;)
Example 1:
North entrance, straight stairs, 1 x winding:

2nd example: Stair position taken over almost exactly, but here I would choose a nice visual staircase without risers.

3rd example: double-spiral staircase

The skylights in the hallway are also just exemplary. I advocate opening the roof to the ridge, at least in the hallway.
