Well, I think it's a shame if a kids' room is smaller than the bathroom.

Hello Yosan. We only have one child and another is not planned. The two children's rooms are therefore planned for our only child. The smaller one is only for sleeping and the other for playing.

Mmh....

...my thoughts...

- Dimension it! Otherwise, it’s hard to say anything about the size ratios

- Regarding the [Technikraum], I am too much of a layman, but put a question mark there to see if this works concerning the [Grenzabstand-/Bebauung].

- I’m not an expert in construction either, but the question is certainly what should still be included in the thermal envelope and what not. Maybe ask if it is absolutely necessary for everything to be built together.

- The overhang, I don't know if I like it that much. But that's a matter of taste. If it were me, I would either pull the dining room up to the edge of the overhang or just roof the terrace.

- At first glance, it looks to me like there might be some construction challenges and cost drivers. Also statically, when I look at the [Allraum] and the cantilever like that.

- The floor plan, as I said, you can't say much without dimensions. But at first glance, I would say it's very tight around the dining table. I think someone sitting facing the terrace would have to make the whole group stand up if they want to go out briefly.

What speaks against the garden facing west and the garage facing south for you? I also see structural challenges there. Two rooms for the child do not seem sensible here. If I were a child, as a teenager I would prefer the office, away from the parents. Then also rather a life on the bed in a smaller room. [Speis] might not work.

Attached are two more pictures with measurements. Unfortunately, I can't get it any better in the 3D program right now. Somehow, I can't get used to the garage in the south. I would also lose a nice south-facing area to the right of the garage. Shouldn't such things, if possible, always be placed better in the north? It is not necessary for the buildings to be connected, but we would like to have a dry transition from the house to the garage. The roof overhang above the dining room was just a whim and can of course be shortened. Regarding the children's rooms, one would be sufficient, but we would simply be more flexible with two separate rooms. Are you only concerned about the statics because of the terrace roof or generally about the room layout?

Unfortunately, I can't currently remember where I know him from - he actually has a twin brother here. The thread in question also recently (a few weeks ago, at most in the past quarter) had an update post from its OP with floor plan images, but I can't find it right now :-( I once asked that OP where his wall thickness came from (his program draws including plaster thickness), but even external searches didn't help me at the moment.
