Floor Plan Idea - Ground Floor - Open Living Feel

Dear forum,

after the first discussions with various prefab house providers, I am still not completely satisfied with the initial proposals regarding the floor plan. Perhaps I was also not able to explain clearly enough in which direction it could go.

For this reason, I downloaded a freeware program and tried to put an idea on paper, which I would like to open for discussion.

The idea with the pantry can gladly be discarded immediately if a better placement is possible. We would also like to have storage space under the stairs.

What would you change?

What the kitchen should look like is still up in the air – it was actually only meant to indicate that the kitchen should be placed in the corner. The idea behind it was to be able to present the house consultants with a rough idea so that the experts could plan something well thought-out based on that.

Pantry, what should go in there? It is too small. Better to extend the kitchen cabinet there.

Please add some measurements to the floor plan. It looks like the chairs, when occupied, are sticking right against the stove.
Always work with correct furniture dimensions.

I also think the kitchen is too small. I would probably tend more towards a U-shaped kitchen with a peninsula to create enough storage space.
