But solid construction is cheaper, so I’ll throw Team Massivhaus into the mix.
100 sqm from 145,000... with quite a few extras plus stairs up to the finished guest area we’re at 200,000.

I was also very surprised because for me a bungalow has always been just a slightly more comfortable garage, but the reasoning makes sense to me as a non-expert.

As a floor plan suggestion for a 1.5-story house, I would also like to throw the house "Hans" from Akost into the mix. It has 97sqm

In principle, I also see a bungalow here, but even though evelinoz's example is really cool, it would probably exceed the budget. Corners, protrusions, recesses – all of that costs extra. I would see a bungalow with a private area (the two rooms and the bathroom) and a public area here as the best solution. A simple rectangular shape and possibly the option to build a small guest room under the roof and use the rest as storage space for things that are not needed very often.

I see it the same way! You meant me. And since the construction site is supposed to be in Brandenburg, where construction prices are still realistic, or the cheap Lower Saxony with its construction companies is not far away, you can easily manage with 200,000 just for the house.
