In my opinion, about 20sqm are missing for the wishes, or you have to plan very cleverly so as not to waste a single centimeter. I would take a look at the Flair 113, with the guest room option on the ground floor.

I was just thinking... "Oh yeah, for a single person such a house is really cool." and then I realized with horror that you are not only two, but even three. For me, at least 20 to 30 m² would be missing....

I agree with all of that as well. Basically way too small. There is hardly any storage space either. And if the visit thing is true, where else is that supposed to go?

These are only 2 persons The floor plan is very intricate and the hallway is disproportionately large. Take a look at the "prefabricated house for 2 persons" in Plan E 20-118.3 from Schwörerhaus. There would be an office on the upper floor, and more space downstairs... Or take a look at floor plans of small terraced or semi-detached houses; they often have a small footprint and integrate the staircase into the dining or living area.

In a tiny house concept, the standards for usual houses are obsolete. Building a small house requires much more mental effort than building a large house. Large motorhomes or other tiny houses provide good orientation. In your design, I see the approach of miniaturizing a "normal" house, and that will not work well because too much space is wasted on corridors, etc. In the shared apartment constellation, I would first make the following considerations:
[*]What is important to whom? (order, cleanliness, quiet, sociability & friends, eating, relaxing, retreat, work, privacy, garden, temperature, pets, comfort, hobby...) [*]What makes a long-term functioning shared apartment likely? [*]What strengthens the relationship/friendship, what threatens it? [*]What are the daily routines? [*]What are the differences in daily life during the different seasons and what consequences arise from this? [*]...
A few thoughts on saving space:
[*]Entrance to the shared living room as proposed by - only if no cleanliness fanatic is involved [*]Alternatively, entrance to the technical room/laundry room as a "dirty sluice" - also proven useful on rainy days - would be my favorite [*]Living space with integrated traffic areas instead of separate corridors and stairs [*]Built-in furniture to save wall space [*]Extension of living space outdoors when the weather is good
Of course, the house is too small by normal standards. These are already overturned by the tiny house approach. Such a small house is inseparably linked to a lifestyle concept. That must be established first. Distant acquaintances of ours have been living for a long time about 300 days a year on the road in a not very large motorhome and love it.

Hello,
I also don’t see a tiny house (with special room concepts) in the plan, but rather a "small standard house."
Based on the Town & Country 100 (8.0m x 8.75m), I made an adjustment for you. It even has another room upstairs, so each occupant has a bedroom (I count 3 people, 2 adults, not a couple + 1 toddler).
If the admittedly very open kitchen area on the ground floor is not pleasing, the kitchen can be separated as a kitchen-living area (including dining table) (dashed wall).
To now reach the 8.5m, if necessary, the living room and upstairs the child’s and guest’s rooms will have to do without 0.25m. However, I think the living room would still be wider than in your floor plan.
