That may be because no one here is satisfied with just "adequate" from you. Would you like to quote that or name the post?
But that's not included in the price?!
In post and it was said that the open space is tight.
The planning of the greened double carport and terrace is included in the architect's fee; the photovoltaic system and a controlled residential ventilation system are currently not. I have budgeted the photovoltaic system and controlled residential ventilation system at 15,000 EUR each.

Due to a death in the family, I was offline and my mind was elsewhere. I really want to sincerely thank you and give great praise that you put in the effort and thought to extensively work out the floor plan in post , make suggestions and try to get the best out of it.
Regarding the ground floor: I would like a built-in closet under the entire length of the (solid) stairs. Whether I additionally need a built-in closet by reducing the pantry I will consider. The shape of the stairs is a good compromise for me so that the hallway does not become too large and the space under the stairs can be used sensibly. Ideally, I would have preferred a half-turned staircase with a landing. I am open to suggestions regarding a different staircase.
My girlfriend has not yet been convinced by a shower ("dust catcher") in the guest WC due to its rare use, but I am persistent. The architect suggested swapping the pantry with the guest WC so that all sanitary facilities are on one side of the house. The downside would then be the "long" way to the pantry, unless the kitchen is moved to the east side. Actually, we use the high chairs in our current apartment for cocktail evenings when friends visit and for home office. In the future, the kids could also have a quick meal there. In the open space, there should be a glass sliding door, ideally opposite the lift-and-slide door. I will take the tip about the 100 cm window on the ground floor into account. The general contractor recommended a ribbon window facing south in the living room, but maybe it will be a standard bridging window.
Regarding the attic floor: Your drawing is definitely "rounder" and more thoughtful. I might swap the WC with the washing machine so there are no spectators while showering. My girlfriend would like a corner bathtub, but realistically we only bathe once a year. However, the child baths weekly, so a normal bathtub would suffice. The wardrobes in the bedroom still give me some concern. I miss the usual wardrobe with over 3m length and 2.1m height. After a brief search on the internet, I found walk-in closets with sloping ceilings. I like that and will discuss it with my girlfriend. Mirroring the house is a great idea. Unfortunately, the lot and our budget are too small. ;)
Kitchen and pantry look good. How wide is the open space?
The kitchen measures 2.50 x 4.50 m and the living room with dining area 7.47 x 4.50 m.
Wouldn't you like to treat yourselves to a few more windows in the attic? I am a dedicated window fan and appreciate my motto "More windows, less furniture." ;-)
But each roof window also means heat loss. Maybe one goes into the bathroom, as drew in post .
Hello,
I would try to mirror the upper floor. Currently, the two children's rooms are in the east. Personally, I would place them rather to the west so they have more sun midday and afternoon. The guest WC adjacent to the living room in the ground floor also worries me. I would not like to hear the sounds from there in the living room ;)
The bathroom above the utility room made the most sense for us. We did not want our bedroom in the east facing the parents-in-law's property, but basically it's worth considering. Then I might even have to mirror the whole house.
Regarding noise from the guest WC to the open space, I have not given it much thought yet. I was told YTong is porous. If I swap guest WC with pantry, then I have noise in the kitchen... which is worse? :D Alternative? Build the interior walls better with sand-lime bricks?
