It can be done with glass, but it’s not ideal. Take up the suggestion from ! For me, the point was that it needs a windbreak in my opinion.

By the way, I would swap the sink and toilet in the bathroom in the basement. Also, the dining room on the west side would get many more windows.

In the basement, it would be advisable to relocate the WC door in order to create a built-in closet from wall to wall in the hallway along the bottom wall of the plan. Also, an exterior door from the utility room to the cellar replacement room. For a hipped roof, skylights or roof windows are also possible for lighting.

In the basement, consider what the approximately 11 sqm hallway could be used for... if you swapped guest room and living room, playing a bit of Tetris... WC between guest (top right in plan) and utility room (bottom right in plan), so a 3 sqm hallway, stairs next to the dining area... kitchen top of the plan...

The kitchen certainly isn’t currently ready for a three-course meal either.

We have actually been quite satisfied with the basement so far.
Replacing the toilet and sink is a very good idea.
The utility room will get a door to the cellar replacement room.

I suspect that I lack the imagination for the rest of the basement.
The large hallway is also due to the fact that the possible rooms at the bottom of the plan are limited (because they are completely underground).

You can do without the hallway if you arrange the rooms differently.

I have already understood that

Alternative:
pro: front door next to garage, separate upper floor optionally with door, children get more sun, larger kitchen, 2m wardrobe + shoe cabinet
contra: bathroom above the living room - drain must be well insulated - thick wall at the stairs already planned - should work., skylight in the upstairs hallway is a must.
