So attached is the site plan. I have shaded the slope. We plan to build at approximately 263-263.5 meters above sea level, which means there is a height difference of about 1.5 meters at the entrance in the front.

At the back in the terrace area, we will need to do some support work so that the neighbor's garden does not slide down :D

Civil engineering work has already been generously planned (high five-figure amount).

Somehow I have the feeling that the whole house is not screaming to have the terrace in the back but rather in the front and to build the house into the slope.

As I wrote, we cannot change the position of the house. So there is not much left in the front for a garden area :(

Ok, then in my opinion you will have to excavate everything from the lower left corner of the house up to the upper end of the terrace down to 262m and shore up the terrace alone with L-shaped stones. Because including the ground-level terrace, there is a 1.5m difference from front to back. The door to the garage doesn’t exist, unless you want to continue with L-shaped stones there. Then you will also have to shore up at the upper property boundary somehow and with whatever you choose. But maybe I just have a knot in my head right now.

We are considering leaving out the terrace on the left and only using the section in front of the house. Then we "only" have to support the part towards the neighbor.

It comes out the same. You will have to dig the terrace 1.5m into the slope, since your ground floor level starts at the front garden, according to the current plan. And you have to support the excavation at the end of the terrace.
