I assume that is meant negatively?

It really looks terrible.
You can't be a symmetry fanatic with this. But to each their own.

Have you had the floor plan statically checked? One side/corner in the ground floor practically has no support over a large area. That's 40 sqm without support plus corner windows. I can't imagine something like that works that easily.

Thank you, I will have it checked. I understand that this is not everyone's thing. Basically, factual criticism is also very welcome since this is the first building in life. But comments that express a subjective opinion without any approach to factual criticism I find unnecessary.... This was not referring to your post :)

I find the orientation of the house "difficult". I would rather see it exactly mirrored. OG Post #13, for example, I would find much better (both orientation and layout).

Currently: Bedroom in southwest? Ben in northeast? Utility room in southwest? WC in west? Kitchen in north? Terrace in east? Garage in southwest?

Maybe there is a background to it and you want it that way? Perhaps a site plan would also help here to see exactly how it looks with the neighbor.

Exactly, as I said, the house wall where the bathroom is located is the unattractive side. This means windows on that side look at a neighbor's house wall. Therefore, life takes place on the other side of the house. A change in the arrangement is therefore rather not an option for us. Still, thanks for the comment. I will definitely take up the topic and rethink the orientation of the rooms :)

You don’t have to look out of windows to enjoy the view, they also serve to illuminate the house. And evening sun is indeed a very beautiful living light. You could try to use it to balance out the cool northern light.
