The selection is anything but large. But we have no time pressure at all. At least we know now that we won't manage with less than 500 sqm.

Our thought process was this: with a screen diagonal x3 we would need about a 75" TV. That's fine. Our TV hardly runs anyway. There are more important things in life.

In summer you can sit outside anyway

Maybe I thought too simply there. I was under the impression that aerated concrete walls wouldn’t have that much influence. And if necessary, beams or something similar. We’re not the first to want a large open space, are we?

Yes, we know now. We will continue to torture pen and paper

We are of course grateful for further tips and experiences

And that's perfectly fine to see. Many amateur planners believe they first have to "comb" their drafts on the PC to be presentable, because the hand-drawn lines are kind of like messy hair, and one is only allowed in the forum with straight lines. But that's nonsense. What you get "scolded" for here is something entirely different, namely for stairs turned the wrong way, no matter how neatly they are drawn. So: always boldly bring on the scribble sketches!

Given the content quality of TV programs, it's a mystery to me how one can assign the heaviest weight precisely to the opinion of the television set about where the seating area should be placed most beautifully.

A "filigree slab" is structurally absolutely identical to other reinforced concrete slabs. I get the impression that many laypersons imagine a slimmer and lighter slab under this term. Firstly, that is not the case, and secondly, where the slab is the floor of the next story, its load-bearing capacity does matter. And always its stiffness against bending.

That too is an amateur planner's mistake, which reliably makes it into one of the top three places: the lack of awareness that drain pipes have a voting power in floor plan layouts similar to load-bearing walls.

If you take a 75-inch for more important things, explain that to me.

Yes, but you have your garage as a "privacy screen" stuck to the sunset.

Whether you place a TV in the standard sizes between 42 and 65 there or take a more expensive 75-inch plays only a minor role in the costs of a new building.
Low TV usage does not automatically imply a small TV size, does it?

In its last meters, the sun would disappear behind the trees 100m away before the garage would play a significant role.

A new sketch is in progress

I have just finished the ventilation planning. And I can say it was a struggle to plan the ventilation openings from the basement through the ground floor into the upper floor, so that I can run the ventilation ducts in the upper floor above the ceiling.

Therefore, be aware, I do not see a central ventilation system for you. Unless you are willing to install it in the walls on the upper floor and hollow out the 42cm to 20cm.

The debris/wall connection that was supposed to go into the exterior wall really scared me.

If you want garages on the left and right, you can also put a workshop across the back. Then you have a four-sided courtyard. No one can see in for sure, and you can't get out either, and you are also completely protected from the sun.
