I quite like the new floor plan.
However, I do have two comments:

An extra toilet on the upper floor is theoretically a good idea. But my experience with children and adults shows that often—once you have filled the bathtub or are about to take a shower and are already undressed—you still need to use the toilet again. My children have sometimes suddenly been overcome by the urge to urinate in the middle of bathing and had to go to the toilet again. So having a toilet in the bathroom was really necessary. Don’t you know this? Are we possibly exceptions? So I would definitely include an additional toilet in the bathroom.
A utility room on the upper floor is basically not a bad idea, although I really like to fold my laundry in the living room because I have some variety with the TV, for example. Also, it can be disturbing in the neighboring rooms when the washing machine is spinning or the dryer is rumbling. Sometimes I do laundry early in the morning on weekends. My late sleepers would not really be happy with noise next door. Have you thought about that?

The window would then be on the north side and not on the west with a view of the garden (although, of course, you don’t look out the window while sleeping :) )

We have no preference for a specific type of staircase – the one that fits best will be the one.

I would not plan the kitchen as a U shape, since the two corners cannot be used well anyway. Two opposite sides are more practical.

We definitely want an extra WC, and here it is also right next door. In our current apartment, we have to cross the entire apartment once, and so far we haven’t seen that as a problem.

Regarding the washing machine, there could also be a cabinet in between in the adjacent room, or the washing machine could be moved to the bathroom, where there is still enough space.

The external dimensions have increased significantly again, right? Are you that flexible there? That all costs...
