Yes, the kitchen window is not considered in the plan. I just checked if there are any possibilities and see that the utility room door stupidly blocks a proper base of the stairs for a storage room. Maybe the wardrobe would fit there? I would have that checked with a section. Otherwise, where would the wardrobe (shoes, shoes, shoes, jackets) go? If something is placed under the stairs, then think about the risers in a wooden staircase. I would paint the sill-high window. Regards, Yvonne

Include the space under the stairs into the utility room when shifting the wall. The door to the utility room looks hidden from the stairs on the floor plan, as if there wouldn't be enough headroom under the stairs, and the door frame would already be behind the stairs at one of the upper corners. When changing this wall, I would consider making the utility room access from the kitchen.

It also looks on the floor plan as if the garage is already standing half a meter wide on the neighboring property (?)

The property boundary has become distorted on the attachment; therefore, it looks as if the garage is n meters on the neighbor's property. I have inserted a new one.

We want to move the sill-height window towards the kitchen so that a window comes after the carport. (We also want to extend the kitchen along the window in that area.)

Including the space under the stairs in the utility room is also a good idea. However, we want to leave the utility room as it is for now.

The door under the stairs was checked by the architect and it fits.

Initially, there will be a wardrobe under the stairs.

The utility room should also serve as a storage room, which is why it's somewhat larger than required in case space becomes tight.

As mentioned, I have control over drywall work and would then convert the space under the stairs into additional storage if the utility room is not sufficient.

P.S.: We have been living in a 35 sqm attic apartment for 12 years, and for almost a year now, the three of us. With this, I want to indicate that I can distribute things throughout the entire living space—not everything, but a lot. I do not have to store everything in one room.

Best regards

Distributing clothes and things, certainly everyone of us can do that well. But if it weren’t for tidying up... also distributing is not liked because then it’s hard to find something again.
Regarding the wardrobe: you have to know whether you like your winter clothes on the dining chair or the sofa.. ;)

Under the stairs, the high area will be gone because of the utility room door, so a proper cupboard won’t fit there.
If the space is only needed for storage, it will already be very tight for 5 jackets. And a family of four definitely has more than 5 jackets per person.

Therefore, I would definitely plan a fixed, spacious wardrobe with a 60 cm depth.

Best regards in short
