To the storage/garage/door: If a car is in the garage on the weekend, you can hardly get anything out of the storage room – some bulky garden tools are difficult, lawnmower or bicycle not at all. Don’t get me wrong: build it as you like, but this info is free. The dry foot from garage to front door: what do you think, how wet will you get in these 4? meters? -> I myself park under the carport at our place, leave the house every day, come back every day, also on weekends. Last year I got wet from the rain just 4! times. So you can save some costs. The question is whether the roof doesn’t make the entrance a bit dark. I would consider swapping garage and carport, then the carport could be widened to cover the entrance as well. Dressing room: consider that narrow corridors between cabinets do not allow you to see everything. About the attachments: they are not loading for me at the moment. Best regards in short

Are you familiar with the meaning of the word 'bauseits'?
It appears quite often in planning; you have plenty to do there.

You can also commission something on site....for example, the joiners here are very thankful for the job after work. The bricklayer is happy to make you a small entrance platform on site in the evening. Of course, you had to give him something....Karsten

I would alleviate the angled junction at the beam, and (preferably) either make the kitchen wider or the bay window narrower so that the load-bearing walls align:

I would

2. not combine the windows:
neither (A) in the dining area, as they are on two different sides of the roof slope;
nor (B) in the kitchen, because the post of the carport stands between them; and

1. generally rearrange them again,
as planned, the window distribution on the facade creates an "optically" flawed statics:

In my opinion, all bathroom variants have the same serious "design flaw": the bathtub is never entirely within the 2-meter height area (at least the toilet is in variants 2 and 5).

Now I see the attachments :)

I would prefer Bath 5, preferably with a straight tub.

I am glad that people here honestly express their ideas, opinions, and have healthy criticism. I could not misunderstand anything because that is exactly what I want to know—how others would do it. Thank you all for your attention.

The storage room will be separated and will get its outer door at the back so the car is not disturbed; moreover, it is mainly intended for tools, bicycles, strollers, etc. Garden equipment will get their garden shed in the garden.

Swapping garage and carport would be good if the garage did not block the kitchen window, or how would you have done it? Slightly set back?

Whether we really need the roof or rather leave it off is a good suggestion.

Of course, I am aware on the builder’s side that building a room under the stairs is also my idea; I could have had the builder do it, but first, we are not yet agreed on how we want to use the room (cloakroom or storage room), and second, I am very skilled in drywall construction – I only recently expanded and paneled the attic.

I accept poor exterior appearance if I get better light-flooded rooms and my well-being improves while working in the kitchen. The height of the windows can be adjusted; I will probably move the two kitchen windows and the narrow one closer together and adapt them visually.

I will consider optimizing the capped junction at the beam by a wider kitchen; that will create more space in the kitchen.

A kitchen plan before I finally decide on a floor plan really makes sense by now, I think.
