A bit more straightforward and open is also possible. The staircase then rather against a wall.

But here the red pen needs to be applied anyway. 130-150m2 max.

Is there also a plan of the GS?

which could also have been continued here: .

Designing is better than erasing.

Hehe. That’s almost mislabeling.

I ask myself the same. The WC could also have been oriented parallel to the staircase instead of placing it crosswise, for which I see no reason.

Their version before the “doityourselfing” would be interesting.
The living room being smaller than the dining room probably means that "living" actually means "watching TV"?

Hello everyone,

I had already prepared myself for many changes but I would not have thought it would be such a catastrophe now.

I actually haven’t drawn in the windows yet. Regarding the open design in the living/dining/kitchen area, I have drawn a sliding door for each. We just want all three rooms to be separate in case guests come.
To get light into the hallway, we planned a window on the north side in the stairwell. The door to the dining area also has glass so that light reaches the lower hallway.

The idea was so that we have a bit of space for the underfloor heating manifold in the lower part of the platform from the utility room.

I just noticed a door is missing. I would have planned another door in the utility room to the outside. From here, I would have direct ground-level access from outside, for example for shopping or the stroller.
Why do you find a bathroom above the living room not nice?

I would have planned a cloakroom on the left side of the platform but built into the wall to the utility room. This would lose some space in the utility room at the height of the platform, but that wouldn’t bother me.

We inserted walls here because we like it if guests are in the dining area while someone else can be calm in the kitchen or living area. However, I have drawn sliding walls so that it is a bit more open.

There is no plan of the plot yet; this was just a discussion about what ideas he had.

Sorry, I didn’t know, I thought a separate thread is better.

Here the idea was only that we have optimal access under the platform, otherwise an alternative would be access to the platform via storage room and WC rotated 90°.

You don't have a third level, or at least it is not recognizable. And you have planned 100 sqm too much. Huh? Your platform has a different function and is on a different level. Leave the technology to the professional. Give up a window because of poor planning? Your house is a two-story building with the front door offset between the levels. Completely insane effort that benefits no one here and is not sensible. Recently there was also a split-level idea here with no actual third level, not the best, but at least feasible https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/grundriss-zweifamilienhaus-nebeneinander-am-suedhang.49076/

Hello, I think you should decide what kind of concept you would like to build, right now the problem is that you want everything a bit half-heartedly...

Split-level staircase without the associated floors

All-room closed but a bit open with sliding doors.

In addition, you are approaching the DIY planning the wrong way. You line up the rooms and move walls, but you have no idea where which windows should be for the sightlines and the facade – that results in a mess. First think about how it should be and then plan everything together with all components.

You don’t just throw eggs, flour, and milk into a bowl, stir, and then think about what kind of cake you want to bake...
