The staircase immediately caught my eye as well. And once again the exit door in the [Hauswirtschaftsraum], I would skip it here too, as it takes up space in the [Hauswirtschaftsraum]. Otherwise, Yvonne has pretty much mentioned everything that I would have noticed.
One more question, what knee wall height is planned on the upper floor? It looks like about 135 to 150 cm.

You are right, I had almost suspected that the staircase is planned too steep and narrow. But does that also apply to the original floor plan draft? Basically, for example, we could also imagine just separating the staircase slightly with a wall on the side, if that makes sense!? Just not as open as we currently have it...

Yes, that seems to be correct... the kitchen was so far inserted more as a placeholder with the program’s given dimensions. To plan concretely, these naturally do not work.

I am very sorry about the measurements; I actually wanted to mention that as well. In fact, I did not quite manage to take all the correct dimensions into account... And thanks for the hint regarding the bedroom, that is actually rather unfortunate....

True, we probably have to give up some ideas and try to use the available space as best as possible.

That seems to come across wrongly... I am happy to accept suggestions on how to distribute or design everything more nicely. And we haven’t signed yet; we are still in the initial negotiations, and financing is not yet finally clarified.

Thank you for your comments.

That is unfortunately also a size that makes more sense as a bungalow or apartment if you build without a basement. In the house, you lose a lot of the small area to traffic routes. I remember such small terraced houses from my childhood. Today, two of these houses are often combined into one.

Okay, let's think about it, we only considered it potentially practical to avoid going through the living area with muddy clothes, especially for our child. But we will consider it. The knee wall height is 1.69, here is the cross-section through the house.

So, I had already been tinkering with this for days. The goal is always to have a small but functional hallway on the ground floor and to generate as much as possible in the open-plan area. The problem here is always, but no matter what I do, the roof pitch/knee wall on the upper floor. Because: the location of the shower and bathtub makes sense there. Moving the shower takes up too much volume elsewhere, and the bathtub's position allows good use of the sloping roof.

I’ll pin a screenshot of the ground floor with a different staircase, where the upper floor still doesn’t work, as well as a planned townhouse, which was actually built that way (4 floors and 13 meters long). Why I’m doing this: the clients' wish was to accommodate a master bathroom in the attic despite a minimal knee wall and shallow roof pitch. We managed this by placing the bathroom in the middle and the office under the sloping roof.

I usually ignore such details... Yes, creating a second hallway and second entrance simply makes no sense here at all. Muddy shoes where laundry is washed and probably also clean laundry is temporarily stored...
