Or the ground floor roughly like this, with a different staircase. The upper floor then remains as in #18, only that the staircase actually "projects" less.
Whether an internal storage/laundry room, lovingly called Panicroom here, can be easily separated with a concrete staircase, I don't know.

I like the second version better. The huge dining table with the many chairs is not so close to the sofa there.
