I guess the wish is for more closet space. Although I don’t like long narrow corridors, I have sketched an option with a walk-in closet upstairs. However, this then requires more roof windows for the upper rooms. I haven’t found any knee wall height yet. Depending on the height, one can also consider narrow windows there. The stairs to the basement are slightly offset beneath the other stairs (no landing – program error). The layout in the basement will surely be a bit tricky – that’s the price for the walk-in closet upstairs. I haven’t given it much thought so far. I left out the door to the pantry from the garage out of protest. I still think that’s nonsense. I can’t fit in a coat rack anymore – only a large closet – but that is at least 2 m wide by 0.6 deep. Opposite, a wall-mounted board with hooks for jackets would still fit.In the upstairs floor, the master bedroom could be a bit larger. Would there be any ideas on your side regarding this, besides enlarging the floor plan or moving the office to the basement?
