If they are good, they are not treated badly.
Or do you want to be lied to? You have an architect who delights with straightforwardness – that is good. And it is his task to revise your final plan once more. It will be fine, I am optimistic about it.

Best regards, Yvonne

With your idea, you have made the entire house smaller and it therefore does not correspond to my suggestion. There is not even a proper wardrobe area left. And that is why I did not properly comment on your sketch (idea) at all.

And, just try furnishing the bedroom in your version. It doesn’t work, I claim, without seeing concrete measurements. Because unfortunately, you have completely omitted measurements in your planning version.

We have made quite a bit of progress with our planning and want to present our new floor plan. We no longer have a separate room on the lower floor and the staircase has been relocated. The kitchen shown in the floor plan is only a placeholder. If anyone has good ideas, please share them. We don’t like on the upper floor that when entering the bathroom you face the toilet directly; otherwise, we are basically very satisfied with the floor plan. Have we overlooked anything important?

Do you already have children? I would rotate the staircase. I don't find the open living area very practical for a family with small children or even with teenagers. And conversely, the staircase has to work in the other direction too, even without having to walk through the dirty area when you go upstairs. aumen: I also don't think the layout of the bathroom on the upper floor is good. You stand with your back to the light at the washbasin... not very practical. Is the window fixed?

Yes, the bathroom window is still flexible and we are open to suggestions. We discussed the orientation of the stairs for a long time, we like it better in this orientation. (Ein Kind ist schon da und eines unterwegs).

So, I basically like the floor plan. I just find it crazy how little of your original wishes remain.
