Floor plan design for a single-family house for a young family

: The staircase leading down to the living area and up to the bathroom makes the two floors grow together more as a whole and is more coherent than if the staircase leads directly from the front door to the bedroom (my opinion).

You are confusing me I like the staircase approach in the living room

: I will suggest the bathroom layout to my wife and the architect. So far, only placeholders have been drawn for the living room furniture.

What do you think about more or less dissolving the (load-bearing) wall between the dining room/kitchen and living room/stairs and only building the wooden studs?
