I think the question was more about where the WC should drain. Below that is the large hallway and also the stairwell opening.

A small thing I noticed, your dressing room has a width of 3.05m. That is the shell measure. Quite a bit will be lost due to plaster, etc. If you plan to fit a standard 3m wardrobe in there... that will probably not work.

I also have to say that I somehow don’t like the "parent's section." I can’t exactly say why.

Edit: Maybe swap the bathroom and dressing room. Then shift the walls a bit...

Wouldn't a 1/2 spiral landing staircase also work there? That way, the start wouldn't be next to the front door and there would be enough space for the bathroom upstairs. The shower in the children's bathroom can cause annoying noises in the adjoining children's room. Please definitely ensure very good soundproofing there.

It is clear that there is a wall there, but the floor of the [überdeckt] covers the two starting steps on the ground floor and there could quickly be a joint problem, especially when going down. How tall are you?

And then, of course, the WC drain ;).

WC: Ah okay, I misunderstood that then. Good point. I will discuss it with the planner. Unfortunately, I can’t say anything about it. The dressing room is indeed planned for a 3m wardrobe. Previously, the length was 2.96 and we have now extended it. According to the planner, about 1.5 cm must be subtracted per side, so a 3m wardrobe should fit. Do you think more could be taken off? Hmm, we do like the parents' wing… what would be the idea behind that swap? We also considered such a U-shaped staircase but then found that an L-shaped staircase on the ground floor somehow looks "more open," but we never really had a strong opinion for one or the other variant. Thanks for the noise tip; we hadn’t thought of it. Do you think a normal partition wall with hollow bricks is enough, or would you suggest something more soundproof? About 185 cm. I thought the two steps wouldn’t cause any problem. Would you recommend putting the entire staircase into the air space?

Well, then here’s my picture again ;)

When going down, a person who is 180 cm ... you easily push yourself upward and you can see, 185 already becomes critical. And that with a finished height of 258 .. every cm less and it becomes more critical.

Ok, already convinced, I will also take this to the planner again. Then we will probably have to either take the U or reduce the bathroom or dressing room a bit.
