So in my eyes, the planner should revise the entrance, dressing/bedroom, and the one children's room. You can create such cool niches for cupboards... I find it a bit messed up. And the entrance with the "wardrobe" is a disaster for 4 people, that’s never enough. I also don’t see something like that in the utility room, not everyone is supposed to go in there and it will surely never be 100% tidy enough for guests to enter.

Well, you do realize that having a coat rail like Alessandro shows doesn’t work in the cloakroom, right? The rail would be on the door. And that makes this niche simply unsuitable as a cloakroom: when I’m inside, the office door is on the right. The depth for a cloakroom should be about 60 cm; here that means it protrudes into the door.

I also don’t find the bedroom/dressing room/bathroom solution upstairs very appealing, but the cloakroom solution is simply awful. Extend the niche wall to the office all the way to the kitchen wall and move the office door all the way down in this wall, then you can use the niche well as a cloakroom, through which you just always have to walk when you want to get to the office. But better than having to push all the jackets aside first just to get to the door like now. It’s still not a nice or even representative solution, but at least it’s doable.

I never have the feeling of a labyrinth. On the contrary. And a shower has to be practical and not cool. And since we had an infinitely small room as a bathroom, we could at least fit everything in that way....

Whether rail or hook doesn't matter at all. My parents have 4 hooks for the guest cloakroom, that's completely enough for guests.

And they themselves only leave the house wearing a loincloth and a grass skirt?

What don’t you understand about GÄSTEgarderobe? My parents are not guests in their own house ;)
