"§34 equals carte blanche" is a popular misinterpretation. Nowadays, parking spaces are regularly specified by local statutes other than just development plans. Municipal building authorities are sometimes just mailboxes for building applications, which are then decided upon at the district office.

Much has already been said...
Pantry only if you preserve hundreds of canned goods from your own garden. Otherwise: you can get canned goods 6 days a week at the supermarket, you don’t need to store them at home in a separate room.

Fireplace, spacious hallways, way too large study, second shower on the ground floor, a storage room.

You can do that, but then the limit must not be 500,000.

Then the kitchen here on the property belongs to the f(r)uit garden with access!

That is actually our "luxury" that we want to allow ourselves. Even if it wouldn't be necessary..

So 500k for the house price plus then kitchen and fittings. The material for flooring is already included in the house price. Exactly, I also see potential to reduce the corridors. The house consultants always push the detailed planning onto the architect who then does it! I am not satisfied with that. I have also already considered shortening the house length by 50 cm. Unfortunately, making it square is difficult since then the house would be positioned too far behind the garage.

I see it the same way as you. We would maybe still want to change the walk-in closet like this:

Sorry for the confusion! We are planning for a maximum of 2 children but currently have none. In my view, saving would be at most on the house size and the window size. Unfortunately, I don't see more potential. Thanks for your input!
