Oh yes, I just checked and found pictures on your page. Cool!!! I currently have some downtime and am therefore interested in various options for interior finishing. On one hand, there is the well-known tried and tested, namely the screwed plank floor that I am familiar with, on the other hand there is today's "standard" underfloor heating. Ultimately, the decision will be made for several reasons, as this time we are building with a general contractor and will therefore also depend on their trades, etc. It is therefore good to be able to make a faster decision through such information. I generally do not want to glue the wooden floor, even if it is multilayer wood or engineered parquet; that is based solely on my gut feeling and various individual details and will possibly find little approval. Our floor in the old house was screwed down and did not creak, but there were corresponding gaps. However, there was never a problem despite children and dog; on the contrary, the more battered it looked, the more you liked it... the floor. It will probably be there for another 30 years in the meantime in the sold house. Let's see what it will ultimately be... building at an older age is something different, I have the impression; I look at completely different things than back then. In any case, I really like your solution for Hausseine’s situation!
