Ah yes......exactly like we had it in the old house, only we had a cork filling in between. Even after 30 years the same floor is still there and always without any problems as well as great living comfort. My congratulations!!! Actually, that would have been my first choice for the new house as well but probably it will now be underfloor heating and then that would be ruled out. Just as a tip. The whole thing also works with underfloor heating! There is a special system for that. You can have both. Just have to google it.

Maybe over 20m between 0.5mm² aluminum and 4.0mm² copper. Otherwise, one can measure differences, but not hear them acoustically. The rest is caused by the dissonance of the high cable price...
We once tested this with acoustic engineers and a double-blind test. One out of five achieved over a 50% hit rate (5m 2.5mm² copper strand against a fixed, prefabricated 6mm² gold-plated reference rig), which was then 60%.
You think you hear differences, but when half the time the supposedly worse cable sounds better, you stop believing in such golden ear legends.
