Nope. I think it's okay: 3.70m length, 18.8 rise, 26 run, 15 steps at 2.82m floor height, if that still applies. (The representation is just a bit messed up, I just draw it by length and don’t set the number of steps in the program - out of laziness.)

I think the effect of "rather steep than spiral" is overrated and eventually backfires; my personal maximum incline is 19/26, more than that tends to be uncomfortable in my opinion. In general, I would say that a "landing staircase" effectively requires about half the landing depth as additional length if you don't want to compare apples and oranges in terms of walkability (without a landing, you can fit steps into this area, but due to the spiral you have to add some depth to them – otherwise you have to deflect too much into the corners).

Thank you! That exact floor plan is what I tried back then. Before we turned to the architect. The kitchen-living room facing the street, entrance from the carport, and a completely separate living/dining area were the goal at that time. Only the fourth bedroom would have ended up in the basement for us. I still find the floor plan very interesting.
