@kati1337 do you know where these gigantic amounts of energy go at your place? And how is bathing related to electricity consumption? Do you only have instantaneous water heaters?
After a full bath, the heat pump usually starts heating water again. We also don’t want to adjust that. Otherwise, we have a lot of hardware that draws energy. Computers running in the home office, also in the evenings. Heat pump for hot water, air conditioning, household appliances, cooking, baking... the usual. One often underestimates what permanent home office means for household electricity. Many things that others use in the office (8-10 hours long!) we use at home. Computers, monitors, coffee machine, dishwasher, lights, etc. etc.
Edit: Not to forget the electric car. I think if you subtract the electric car and the heat pump from our load, and then subtract another 33% from what remains (for the time other people spend in the office), we end up with a consumption in the upper average for a 4-person family and this house size.
