Empty conduits on the property - ideas? - It's not too late yet :)

Hello house building friends,

my civil engineer is now starting the groundworks (gravel slab for the house and garage). Since he is making the gravel slab right up to the boundary, I fear it will be tight with the power line to the front and back garden. Furthermore, I am planning an irrigation system and the water hoses need to be distributed accordingly. Does it make sense to have the civil engineer lay empty conduits directly in which I can later lay power underground cables and water hoses (PE) without having to dig again? I am referring to the areas where no topsoil will be placed, such as garage and driveway.
Do you have any tips on what I can still implement now?

The house is without a basement and the garage has strip foundations without a base slab.

Thank you.

Under the areas that you won’t be able to access later, you obviously have to lay the pipes right away (electricity, water, control). Only you can know where you need electricity or individual circuits. We don’t have any plans. Important are the appropriate penetrations from the house to a spot where you can reach. Regarding your irrigation, you will have to dig anyway. Do you already have a finished irrigation plan (number of zones, number and position of distributors, number and position of sprinklers, drip and root irrigation...)? How is the irrigation supplied? Does the pump deliver sufficient volume? Where is the irrigation controller located? You have to run control lines from each distributor to this. Plan these right away. Possible penetrations... Since you will have to loosen the soil again after construction, you can use the trenching machine to dig the trenches at the same time. I recommend the Hunter rotators with pressure-compensating housing. Please, not Gardena.

Explain the construction world to a woman! She says: It’s all deducted from the meter later anyway, so this has nothing to do with the foundation slab. Everything else is “planned” in the foundation slab. What the E-Werke or Telekom want to install in terms of lines is in a completely different context than what the client wants.

She writes about water hoses (PE). Here I assume irrigation lines.
This does not necessarily have to be from the meter but, for example, a cistern.
Distributors are mostly (and also more sensibly) distributed across the property.
There is a main pipe with which the distribution boxes are supplied and from there it is further subdivided.
During the construction phase, I would also rather run everything through multi-ducts. Better to have one empty conduit too many than too few.
Exactly according to Nordlys "having is better than needing".

But that comes later, after the construction road and floor slab... nothing is installed under the floor slab. Cisterns only make sense later when the downpipes are installed.

I think we are misunderstanding each other right now. I had written: Irrigation on the site later. Supply lines, control lines, electricity, etc. that need to go in or out of the house should be planned right away. Preferably multi-ducts or core drillings later. For a house without a slope or basement, it makes sense to lay this through the foundation slab. Otherwise, it is harder to hide because you go out above ground.
