I don’t know if anyone besides me enjoys dealing with consumption and numbers related to the electricity and gas price brake and the forecasts, so this is just an attempt:

Forecast: Electricity 2,400 kWh per year, consumption since 06/04/22 at 2,917 kWh
Forecast: Gas 20,000 kWh per year, consumption since 06/04/22 at 52.81 m3 --> converted with factor 10 results in 528.1 kWh

The following is only for those who want to know more precisely:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Single-family house (Landkreis Leipzig) with underfloor heating/everywhere tiles
built according to the Energy Saving Ordinance (gas condensing boiler plus solar thermal)
approx. 139 sqm living space
Residents are two adults without children, at home all day
Move-in early August 2022
Meters for electricity and gas have been running since approx. mid-June 2022
until September 2022 emergency supply, since October 2022 basic supply
Special feature: Sauna (operated once a week with heavy current) and brewing beer (approx. once a month)
Thermal final energy per sqm: 37.57 kWh/m2a - Auxiliary final energy per sqm: 2.87 kWh/m2a - Primary energy per sqm: 46.5 kWh/m2a

Edit: Unfortunately, I was no longer able to change the title to "...-price brake," which would be correct.

I had no forecast but electricity consumption since February 22 (according to the meter): 2931 kWh. However, we have only been living in it properly since June. Unfortunately, I did not remember the meter reading at that time, but I suspect it was about half. Consumers: heat pump, controlled residential ventilation, from June also refrigerator and freezer as well as stove and oven. Home office and my wife has some plant lamps.

Since the electricity price brake only takes effect at high 40 cents and I have been on the new contract at 33.8 cents since the day before yesterday (unfortunately raised from 25 cents), I am not interested in the brake at all. Somewhat annoying, as I have an annual consumption of 10,000 kWh.

Oh, I completely forgot that this is about the brake. I'm still at 28.5 cents.

How was your monthly installment calculated then? Our first letter included, under "Consumption and Meter," among other things, "Estimated annual consumption:".

I have "moved" the electricity contract. Probably because of that. Although the installment has decreased a bit, which is actually strange since I now have one big consumer more (previously district heating). Hmm, maybe I should have the installment increased, but the annual statement is coming up soon anyway.
