Out of bed, down to the kitchen, make coffee, back up to the bedroom? It would take something else happening to get me back into the bedroom... oh, it's not even 10 p.m. yet... ;)

To be honest, I see relatively little point in balconies for single-family homes, except maybe in steeply sloped locations. If there is a balcony, then actually at the study or children's room and rather not at the bedroom.

Putting the bed under the window will also be difficult because we have a fairly high bed and that wouldn’t fit with the height of the parapet. I don’t find the small distance between the bed and the wall so bad.

Now it’s getting silly. You can hardly step beside the bed and you don’t find that so bad? How much does the place cost you? Do you really want to make such compromises there?
But no problem, then just put the bed against the wall by the staircase.



Light from below is rather nonsense. Where should that come from? But light from above is an option. What kind of roof is planned and are daylight spots possibly feasible? If not, skylights in the doors would also be helpful or in the dressing room a door with a maximum glass section or all of it at once.

We actually weren't really aware of the bed situation. We're just not used to it any other way. But we will definitely redesign it now and place it against the wall by the stairs.
