It’s more about when you are in the living room and then have to go upstairs to the bedroom where the baby is initially located; the distance is very far.
So shortening the walking distance from the ground floor to the bedroom when the baby is still in the bedroom. I know everything changes eventually. But I would just like to know if it would be possible to change it without complications, if desired.

I already wrote once that for stair discussions it is helpful to know the entire ground floor and upper floor plans. Perhaps the staircase can also simply be rotated ;)

Kerstin had already pointed out the tightness. So I would recommend moving the front door about 40 cm downwards according to the plan, which makes the guest room a little smaller. Rather not, I already mentioned the source of the house design:

... quite honestly ... then it should be discussed there. If someone creates a separate thread, I expect either the information in one post or at least the appropriate links to relevant posts with current floor plans in the question. I’m not going to piece together the latest floor plan status in such a thread now.

Does this baby already exist, because of whom the entire floor plan is supposed to be rearranged? Either way, I would think carefully about whether I would want to overhaul the whole house layout just because of a phase that only lasts a short time. Babies are very individual; who knows if the constellation "we are in the living room, the baby sleeps upstairs" even exists with you? There are many babies who are very clingy. And then there are ours, who don't care about anything and just want to sleep peacefully. For both types, you don't actually have to run back and forth constantly. If they really are still at an age where you have to constantly fuss over them – mind you, mine is now 4 months old and that phase is already over – then you usually have them with you all the time anyway, because anything else hardly makes sense. Long story short: anticipating baby behavior and baby needs is almost impossible. The high maintenance phase lasts less long than one thinks.

You don’t have to make the effort to look for floor plans. The old ones are no longer up to date and my explicit concern was to keep the hallway width as it is. That means also leaving all other rooms etc. unchanged. The question was simply whether an L-shaped staircase is possible with the hallway width. For that, the complete floor plan is not necessary.
