And you never get guests? Mailbox goes behind the garage so the postman can hardly find it?

I can understand your wish; we also have the street to the south (further complicated by the ridge direction parallel to the street and an elongated building shape specified) and placed the house as far north as possible.
However, our plot is almost square and we did not move the front door sideways to the garage so that it can't be found at all. By the way, there will be a seating area in the northeast corner at some point. Your plot just requires a few different approaches than the standard planning methods.

Jana, you act as if all other corners of the garden except the south are dying in the dark and without sun. That is not the case. It is important that you have windows facing the sunny side so that brightness comes into the house. So south and west. The terrace is also good elsewhere. The trend is anyway towards second and third terraces, which usually appear in a corner of the garden. West also gets the full south sun, in the north you have the most sun in the evenings during summer. When we have summer sunny weather, you feel comfortable in every corner of the property where there is some shade, so gladly also under trees. Go to Sonnenverlauf.de and play around a bit with the seasons. Only 25% of all properties have the seemingly optimal north-south orientation, but it is not the optimum for garden life, it just makes some things easier. Your over 20 meters width is also standard, so if you place the narrow side of the house on it, you get enough space for a corner terrace. Standard floor plans can be adapted very well.

She has gotten carried away. Really. Even if I were allowed, dear Jana, I would never ever build like you want. I would, as Ant says if allowed, align the gable parallel to the sides of the plot, I would position the house to the southeast, the garage and driveway at the southeasternmost corner on the border. Terrace to the west. Karsten

Hello Jana, If everything goes well, we will also purchase a hillside plot with a north(-east) orientation in March. We have to stay 7m away from the street and would even like to be 2m closer, as is possible on many plots around us. With a depth of 37m, however, we can easily live with the 7m. Have you ever been on your property at different times of the day? I can only recommend it! A north-facing garden is not nearly as dark as you might first think. [emoji5] We are also planning to add a terrace next to the house. In the summer, I can hardly stand the heat on the west-facing balcony of my apartment after work. I am already really looking forward to being able to escape the sun sometimes. [emoji6]

I am also completely appalled by the statement that 170sqm is unnecessary. That is north! ... the sun comes around in the evening. Here, everyone has built their sundowner terrace in the outer NW corner. In our place, from about 6 p.m. there is only sun in our north courtyard, so at that time of day we often go to the street to chat with neighbors....

That the whole thing is not to scale does not make it any easier. But I am increasingly wondering where the entrance is supposed to go and what the path to it looks like? Through between the garage and the house to the east side of the house? *ponder*
