Detached house on a hillside, approx. 220 m², 2.5 floors, gable roof - ideas?

We quite like the open staircase, also that it goes up from the living area. We have thoroughly dealt with the respective disadvantages. Otherwise, the entrance is in the north. And the house is on the south-facing slope.

I like it. I wouldn't change anything except the chimney. I find it ugly on the outside like that. Also delicate is that Child 2 can watch Mommy and Daddy over the balcony in the bedroom.

Oh, I missed one thing. Not enough windows! I would add another window in the kitchen and also in the storage room upstairs, in the WC and in the cloakroom, and also another one in the office. Child 1 can have one too.

So the kitchen is very difficult to plan that way.
