I don’t like the long distances: once on the ground floor, you have to go through the whole house to get to the kitchen, and it’s not exactly small. Then upstairs to the bathroom, also going through the bedroom and dressing room until you reach the toilet. Quick styling or using the toilet on the go is just not possible Also, I would feel a bit trapped when bathing.
A note on the tip above: our bathtub costs over 1000, because it is 180 x 80.
Style with the round stories and balconies is a matter of taste. Personally, I don’t like the oversized rooms.
What kind of ventilation is that? Mine is about 7000 more expensive (for 135 sqm)
Hello,
the distances were intentional on our part. Explanation: Our garden (and south) is to the right of the house, there is our garden (the plot extends widthwise, not in depth). Therefore, the living room and dining room are south-facing. The garage is therefore on the left side of the house - since we wanted to go from the garage through the pantry into the kitchen, the room layout resulted as it did. We didn’t want access to the kitchen from the hallway, otherwise the kitchen would not have had a single wall without a door or window...
Upstairs, it’s the same with the bathroom; we wanted exclusive access to the bathroom. That’s why there is a children’s bathroom We had already seen a bathtub like that in person and liked it very much.
What do you mean by oversized? It’s simply a big house!
The ventilation system will be a Vaillant RecoVair 350. Price according to the offer from our local heating engineer.
Best regards
