if you set up a new system, install the distribution lines and sprinklers, drip irrigation right away... You can optimize the control system anytime. At the beginning, in the worst case, you can also just replug. It will never be easier than with a new installation. The PE-HD pipe doesn't cost much.

My parents have the Integra Inox with floating intake. Simple and reliable

Submersible/well pumps are, in my opinion, more practical than suction pumps.

Better to have a proper well pump. The Invegra Inox models are too small in pressure and flow rate if you want to set up an automatic irrigation system. Otherwise, it becomes more expensive because more zones are required. For a garden hose connection, however, they are completely sufficient.

For our cistern, a well pump was also recommended to us, but I somehow never ended up with the right model. Since the garden will only be laid out next year, it is not so urgent yet, but I would still like to get involved here. Which model (with integrated control) can you recommend? Should power two connections for hoses ...

For example, a model from Tipp.
Do you only want to connect hoses?

Back then we bought a complete system from Graf: that is, a cistern and a pump. I think a ground connection was also included, but we didn’t use it. When it was installed, our garden plan was not yet finalized, so we did not plan any irrigation. Later I asked if it could still be done, but we would have had to go so deep because of frost protection that it would have been a huge effort. Now we just have a simple water tap in front of and behind the house, which is supplied by the cistern, and next to each hangs a hose reel with 30 and 25 meters of hose respectively. It works well and for me watering my garden is my form of meditation. However, we do have a small garden.
