I would ask like this:
You have a fairly large utility room with 15m². Mine is half as big and I have all the house connections in there. So what else should go in there if you put the washing machine in the bathroom (which I personally consider a cardinal mistake)? Besides, I find the bathroom really huge. Does it have to be? That can quickly become uncomfortable and cold.
We also have the utility room upstairs. That’s okay, but if I were building new, the laundry room would be downstairs with a laundry chute from the upper floor. From there, there would be a terrace door leading directly outside to the laundry area where I can hang my clothes in the fresh air. That I have to carry the fresh laundry upstairs would be worth it to me.
So I would put your washing machine here in the utility room – possibly I would add a small partition wall for separation – but that’s not absolutely necessary.
I also find the children’s rooms on the north side problematic. Usually, the brightest rooms are given to the children since adults mostly lie in bed only at night. But children also like to play in their rooms during the day. I would rather use cooling against the heat. But of course, you have to decide that yourselves.
That’s why I would completely redesign upstairs. Make the bathroom smaller and place it above the utility room and add a laundry chute.
The bathroom(s) have become so large because we wanted to ensure the comfortable use of the bathrooms with a wheelchair in mind. According to DIN there are certain requirements for turning and maneuvering a wheelchair user.
According to the architect, the children’s rooms get enough light, one through the window in the west, the other through the window in the east. Now I’m a bit uncertain about the light incidence... Does anyone else perhaps have an opinion on that? The windows could possibly also be planned a little wider. I don’t know if that would significantly change the brightness.
A question from me that probably doesn’t help you but interests me. Why then 696,000 € all inclusive? Do you have a particularly high standard? You also don’t have a basement. That would even be b
The plot was fully developed, which alone cost 232,000 euros. Hence the high total price.
