But with this terrace design, there is none.

You can't even get into the workspace - this island piece is too long for that.

If the kitchen is already ordered, changes are difficult.

I agree with these questions.

The current plan was to have a sliding door cabinet made by a carpenter. In it, a washing machine and dryer would be stacked on one side, and on the other side of the cabinet we wanted shelves for dirty laundry. We don’t have hand wash, but we actually didn’t think about laundry that needs to be hung up. Oh dear, so we do like the idea of having a separate wash and drying room. Only where to put it? Where would you still accommodate it with our floor plan? If necessary, we would have to temporarily put a drying rack in the bathroom. That would be the case for T-shirts, sweaters, and delicate laundry. Maybe you have another idea.

Won't work without a replanning of the upper floor.

Bathroom 1 or 2 sqm smaller, office 3 to 4 gone. Then there is no bed for the visitor there.

No hand wash?

I would ask like this:
You have a fairly large utility room with 15m². Mine is half that size and I have all the house connections in there. So what else should go in there if you put the washing machine in the bathroom (which I personally consider a cardinal mistake)? Besides, I find the bathroom really huge. Does it have to be? That can quickly become uncomfortable and cold.

We also have the utility room upstairs. That’s okay, but if I were to build new, the laundry room would be downstairs with a laundry chute from the upper floor. From there, there would be a terrace door leading directly outside to the laundry area where I can hang my laundry in the fresh wind. That I have to carry the fresh laundry upstairs would be worth it to me.
In that respect, I would put your washing machine in the utility room here – possibly I would add a small partition wall for separation – but that’s not absolutely necessary.

I also find the children’s rooms facing north worrying. The brightest rooms are usually given to the children since you yourself mostly only lie in bed at night. But children also like to play in their rooms during the day. To counter the heat, I would rather work with cooling. But of course, you have to decide that yourselves.
That’s why I would completely redesign upstairs. Make the bathroom smaller and place it above the utility room and add a laundry chute.

I do not find the utility room downstairs too big, even without [WA], dryer. It is the only storage room in the whole house. Everything has to go in there. Decorations, water crate, sports equipment, suitcases, tools, light bulbs, etc. If a dryer is available, you don’t hang up that much laundry, and the little bit can also be carried into the garden if needed, if you want to.

Just a question from me that probably won't help you but interests me. Why 696,000 € all inclusive? Do you have a particularly high standard? You also don’t have a basement. Even with 120,000 € ancillary building costs, that would still be more than 3000€ per square meter.
