I have a test facility, therefore data is transmitted daily to the manufacturer. The difference with or without [Enthalpiewärmetauscher] is about 10% humidity after last winter.

Believe it - or don't believe it We do not have an enthalpy heat exchanger. You just have to deal with your device a bit (like with the heating) and experiment. I can set any percentage for 3 levels to determine at what speed the ventilation should run. Accordingly, I have set the levels "low" and "medium" lower and programmed them over the course of the day with a time program. Currently, we have an air exchange rate of 0.3. That’s more than enough - the 0.5 is not necessarily needed

Maybe it doesn't just depend on the controlled residential ventilation but also on the building (is the construction drying time already over?) and the usage behavior? How many people? Is there a lot or little cooking? Laundry drying, etc.? Just as an example... Large building volume, DINKIs, rarely cook and take most of the laundry to the dry cleaners and shower every other day at the gym compared to a more compact building with 2 adults, 3 children, cooking every day, washing, drying laundry and 5 people showering. Both controlled residential ventilation without enthalpy... do you think the same average humidity comes out?

You are absolutely right face. There are 4 of us, we shower and cook daily. On the ground floor and upper floor there are normal houseplants. Of course, in winter we hang wet laundry indoors on the drying rack to dry. If it is raining or foggy outside, the stuff does not dry.

Maybe get a ventilation system where the ET can be easily retrofitted without major expenses, because as already writes, it very much depends on the circumstances.

There should be options for retrofitting without major expenses, right?

The heat exchanger is easily replaceable in all centralized ventilation systems known to me.
