It's just the more expensive option.
Retrofitting costs €800, taking the upgrade when buying is about €400-500.
You don't need to worry about construction moisture; it also goes away with enthalpy.
I didn't mean that you can't get the house dry (except that it might take a bit longer). But due to the drying time, you often might not need an enthalpy heat exchanger at first. And you can still decide in 2-3 years whether you need one or not. As already mentioned, depending on the circumstances, it might possibly never be needed permanently.
Everyone has to decide for themselves if they want to save the €300-500 compared to retrofitting.
But I want to point out again that you can still switch to it when retrofitting. In summer, you might even rather want to get moisture out...
