Central control of roller shutters - What solution?

So, the animeo IB+ is your BUS central unit. For it to communicate with tahoma, the 433 MHz radio module probably needs to be inserted. It should be placed where the yellow sticker is. The module should be the radio bridge that allows the IB+ central unit to convert the signals from the wireless buttons into BUS signals.

Maybe one more addition: I think a radio module is already inside. If you google the manual, it says the following about pairing: You can check if anything happens.

Also as an addition: pressing for 5 seconds probably resets the radio module. Pressing for 10 seconds resets the entire motor controller. So don’t get overconfident and press too long. ;)

Hello you both and thanks for the support so far.
I checked this over the weekend and found that the radio module was already plugged into two of the four control units. I then plugged it into the other two, so now all four controllers have this RTS module.
Unfortunately, nothing happens at all :(

What makes me suspicious is the description of the next step from what you quoted above , it goes on with:

“Now press the programming button on the back of the transmitter to be paired”…

I have NO programming button on my transmitters, which are the built-in ib push buttons. :/

As someone who has no clue, I don’t understand why I need these radio modules for wired push buttons (!) on a wired controller (!)? I shouldn’t need this media break, should I?

I find the media disruption, to put it mildly, also "unfortunately" solved. My expectation would have been that you start the learning process with the Tahoma box and instead of the remote control press the programming button on the animeo control. Otherwise, the last straw I could cling to would be to get a remote control, first pair it with the animeo unit, and then use it for the learning process with Tahoma. Overall, the whole system is unnecessarily complicated.

I followed your last-straw tip, the result is... well: I still have an RTS radio remote for the awning, which I used. The controls recognized it immediately, that fits. However, I could only transfer the one remote to Tahoma, which also worked, but now the one added roller shutter in Tahoma controls all roller shutters and venetian blinds in the whole house when operated :/ Strangely enough, also different operations regarding up/down, a total mix.
Did I forget a step in between?
Is there another idea?

I followed your straw grasp tip, the result is... well: I still have an RTS radio transmitter from the awning, which I used. The controllers recognized it right away, fits. However, I could only transfer that one transmitter to Tahoma, which worked, but now the one registered roller shutter in Tahoma controls all the roller shutters and venetian blinds in the whole house when activated :/ Strangely, it also does different things with up/down, a complete mix. Did I forget a step in between? Is there any other idea?

Have you tried googling the manual for the animeo part or radio module? If you search for the ref number (1860105), the manual is available for download at some shops. After the first pairing, the remote control is supposedly meant to control all the roller shutters at first. Then you have to - similarly complicated - assign the correct channel (chapter "Changing the assignment of drive outputs"). In other words: assign only one roller shutter to the transmitter, pair in Tahoma, reprogram the transmitter, pair in Tahoma again, etc. Totally intuitive, right :oops: But hey, at least you managed to pair something in Tahoma. We’re making progress :cool:
