We have the smart home completely from Rademacher and Philips Hue. Roller shutter control, weather station, window contacts, smoke detectors, cameras. Everything works great. No reason for expensive KNX.

Home automation with us is completely done via the Rademacher Homepilot3. Smoke detectors, window contacts, indoor and outdoor motion detectors, weather station, cameras, blinds, lighting, ventilation, heating, and garage door control are integrated. Total costs with the house electrician were about 10k. Most of that was for the Hue spots and lamps. The only disadvantage is the dependence on the manufacturer you get into. But there’s always something.

So far, it is just a list of components. A table of contents does not yet make a book.

so:
Tell me more, what is smart at your place?

I don't think so, Tim (c).

But that's just by the way.

Home automation is completely managed by the Homepilot3 for us.

What is smart?
-Roller shutters operate autonomously in the morning and evening.
-If a window door is open, the roller shutter does not move thanks to the window contacts.
-The weather station reports sunlight and adjusts the roller shutters as needed, and the heating is lowered. When it gets colder outside, the heating turns up.
-When the smoke detectors go off, the roller shutters automatically move up.
-The system shows open and closed doors.
-Roller shutters can be operated manually and also with Alexa voice commands.
-Hue is combined with the motion detector; those who know Hue know what is possible. Lighting scenes, among others.
-The house can be controlled remotely via smartphone.
The total sum was somewhat higher. €11,887 see attachment.
At least for us, this was the most acceptable price-performance solution compared to KNX.
