I do consider that quite possible, but I would still like to point out that with the information "delivery time," it is not always clear what exactly is meant:

In connection with our new single-family house construction, we ordered some items (furniture, sanitary fixtures, toilet, decorations, etc.) for which the delivery time was stated as approximately 2 weeks, for example, but --> this did not refer to the delivery time to the end customer at home (although this was not clearly indicated), but rather to the period during which the supplier "expected" delivery from the producer. Then we regularly received messages about delays, etc. ... meaning, for us/the end customers, the stated delivery time was worthless. I have only recently become aware that delivery times no longer necessarily refer to arrival at the end customer.

Actually, I don't quite understand what this is supposed to be good for and hope that this interpretation regarding delivery times will be abandoned again.

But these are not products for indoor use, rather for outdoor… that’s what I asked about. I would appreciate a description of where one can find indoor devices ;)

I personally like wood-burning stoves; in spring we are even getting a proper tiled stove installed (that wasn’t possible for this winter anymore). You can definitely still get a simple wood-burning stove. They are just more expensive than before the war. Whether you can get wood, you’ll have to see. There were also panic buying and hoarding effects here. But you can also be lucky.

The government recommends certain supplies; the lists can be found online. I also didn’t prepare for a long time. But now we have done it. We have food and water for about 2-3 weeks in stock – and we can cook without electricity, and the food lasts accordingly long without electricity as well. And also things like candles, matches, etc. In the worst case, you bought it for nothing and use it later in another way. I bought wool socks and polar fleece jackets for us. We have blankets, etc. You certainly can’t go wrong with that. We have two children, and I just wanted to sleep more peacefully knowing that I can feed my family for a while and that no one has to freeze badly. There’s nothing wrong or panicky about that. I don’t think we will need the stuff in that form. But if we do, we are a little prepared.

You can’t, and that is well known. Seriously, in doubt I would buy a small workshop stove for a cheap price. Find out to what extent I have to connect such a stove. I imagine keeping it ready along with some wood. If a blackout really happens, it can be quickly connected and you have the place warm. You can also heat water on it. As a backup, that is completely sufficient and the chimney sweep doesn’t come every few months with high costs. An inspection wouldn’t matter to me at all in a power outage.

One should not interpret the fact that police, energy suppliers, THW, etc. are preparing for a large blackout as an indication that such a blackout is imminent. It is simply their job to prepare for it because in case of an emergency everything has to happen very quickly. You cannot hesitate for weeks like with a pandemic.

The rest has already been said. You are way too late, even if you still manage to get such a stove now, the craftsman or chimney sweep will probably laugh and say "I'll come in April" and hang up...

And it's also nonsense against the blackout... my colleague once put it very aptly: "Then you also have to buy an assault rifle. Because if there really is a 3, 4 day blackout, people will go where it’s warm and smoke is coming out of the chimney."
