Hello, welcome to the forum, please add the measurements of the floor plan. What I notice is that the children's room and the hallway are larger than the living room, is that intentional, and the bedroom is in the south, no one is there all day and in the evening it is maximally heated, where are [Terrasse] and [Garten] planned?

Hello,

the wish is to have a covered terrace at the kitchen, hence the L shape and the bedroom facing south.
I am open to suggestions.
Here are the first rough dimensions:
Cooking / Eating 3.2 x 7.5 m
Living 3 x 4 m
Child 3.8 x 2.8 m
Bathroom 2.8 x 3 m
Utility room 2.8 x 2.1 m
Office 2.2 x 2.8 m
Dressing room 2.5 x 2.8 m
Sleeping 3.5 x 3 m

I thought the child’s room is difficult to plan there in terms of size ratio. Especially since the child should sleep there in summer when we are still sitting outside in the evening.

The corridor is planned with a width of 1.2m each.

Oh, I see... the entrance area is planned to be 1.5m wide. I am unsure whether 3.2m width is enough for the dining area and whether the living room is not too small. However, for cost reasons, I do not want to plan it any larger.

I would swap the bathroom with the office and give the walk-in closet a window.

Yes, I thought so right away too. Then it would basically be nice overall. Personally, I would turn nearly everything upside down again ;) ... no, just kidding  There are no general dependencies between kitchen coverings and bedroom orientations. Then perhaps some more changes? How long will that work well? The child grows older, and while sleeping places are built into a house, one should actually live in it too! But the floor plan will work excellently, by the way. By the way, I find the storage room very well solved, but I would not plan the sofa under the window and would arrange the bathroom differently as well. A double washbasin would also be good. The kitchen island could get a bit tight with the tall cabinets, so I would... rotate the island 90 degrees and widen the terrace door.
