Steam ovens do not have pyrolysis. In my opinion, this is technically necessary.
We have an oven with steam boost function and pyrolysis (also Siemens). The steam oven is hardly ever used for baking or roasting and does not need pyrolysis since nothing sticks.
What do you do with a warming drawer?
Besides using it for letting meat rest, I also use the warming drawer to warm plates and keep food warm when someone arrives late or when I mess up the timing while cooking and one part of the dish is finished too quickly.
Built-in coffee machine... well, in my home office 5 to 7 Americanos are made a day, my wife also drinks a lot of coffee, guests too.
And a fully automatic machine takes up a lot of space on the countertop.
The fully automatic machine is not my alternative, but rather a portafilter machine.
Most fully automatic machines I know are only properly maintained from the outside and mold inside. People often believe that the cleaning function is enough for a clean and healthy operation. As a guest, I often reject coffee from fully automatic machines not only because of the taste but also due to my combination of imagination and machine knowledge.
The second oven can also be chosen only 45 cm high and with microwave function.
Yes, the steam oven can be smaller. I see the microwave function more in the "large" appliance.
The dream would be a vacuum drawer underneath... But that is really pure luxury and correspondingly insanely expensive.
Vacuum sealing is great. I need it rather rarely and have a device for it that I occasionally place on the countertop and then put away again.
