That matches my experience. We have a Samsung side-by-side with ice crusher and water connection in our "entry laundry room" and a Siemens built-in appliance in the kitchen. After a little over 5 years, the Samsung has become louder, the Siemens has remained quiet.

Get a steam oven from Neff, it can fully retract the door and the steam function offers several options that you don’t have in a regular oven.

I would also consider a slot for a second oven and possibly one for a warming drawer and built-in coffee machine.
You don’t have to buy everything right away..

Not really. We currently have the Samsung Bespoke with manual dispenser and without water connection, which really wasn’t expensive, and there is also the full-door refrigerator. Then you also have significantly more cooling/freezing space, and which French door should be cheaper than that? Can you name the models? But I would rather choose Siemens, as they are actually quieter. For us it’s irrelevant that the freezer is in the utility room.

I am currently looking at the Hisense RF728N4SBFE. It costs about 1,800 euros. I found the cheapest freezer with ice cube dispenser for 1,600 euros. Then I still need a normal refrigerator. Certainly more space than in that one, but not equally expensive. If you disregard the ice cube dispenser, I absolutely agree with you. And that is primarily what matters to me.

I find this draft significantly more "cook-friendly". The work surface in front of the window will bring you joy. When you enter the price negotiation - start with the simplest Siemens appliances and have them (among other things) give you a discount for the surcharge on the desired appliances. The kitchen people have a lot of leeway here, which doesn't hurt them but benefits you.

A second oven is practical, a warming drawer too – but space is already tight for that. I cannot recommend a built-in coffee machine to anyone who really enjoys drinking coffee.

I thought so at first too. Steam ovens don’t have pyrolysis. In my opinion, that’s technically unavoidable. But I only searched up to 1,500 euros. What do you do with a warming drawer?
