We will check that, maybe it can be combined with the window.

I agree with you. We didn’t want the cooktop on the side facing the dining room because it tends to splash there more often. That’s already annoying today, but if it splashes into the dining room, it’s probably even worse.

Do you mean the L-shape part facing the dining room?

I agree with you. We already have that today. It’s okay. We want it in the middle because it looks uniform.

We’re not sure yet but want it uniform. We won’t need more than three shallow drawers for cutlery. We have one drawer for that today.

Thanks for your comments

No. Without appliances around 13,000 euros. At Ikea with appliances and different fronts around 10,000 euros.

Thanks for the tip! I looked into it. Unfortunately, the freezer units alone with an ice cube dispenser cost just as much as the complete French door. I don't want to do without the dispenser in the appliance.

Thank you very much for your detailed answer. Attached is the revised proposal in two variants:

1.) L-shape

2.) L-shape with island

How do you like it? Do you have any further ideas?

I find this design significantly more "cooking-friendly." The workspace in front of the window will make you happy. When you go into the price negotiation – start with the simplest Siemens appliances and have them give you (among other things) a discount equivalent to the surcharge for the desired appliances. The kitchen people have a lot of leeway here, which doesn't hurt them but benefits you.

Not really. We currently have the Samsung Bespoke with a manual dispenser and no water connection, which really wasn't expensive; there's also the full-space refrigerator. Then you also have significantly more cooling/freezing space, and which French door would be cheaper? Can you name the appliances? I would rather choose Siemens because they are actually quieter. For us, it doesn't matter since the freezer is located in the utility room.
