exactly those please do not throw away. Find the class and would like to "co-finance" the new bathroom in exchange for a small contribution ;-)

Well, one should consider why the step is there. What do you want for the new shower, as little slope as possible or? It could be that drains etc. are currently located almost above the finished floor level and that's why the idea is to remove everything, including screed and underfloor heating, to completely rebuild it and at the same time integrate drains into the underfloor heating level, making it more flexible towards a level-access shower.

As a minimum job for me, remove the columns, renew the toilet and re-tile, with the rest I could live well considering today’s prices for appliances and fittings.

I would first be interested to know how to handle the window there.

Otherwise, my first idea was also like that of .

Washbasins and pedestal sinks are not really my thing either. But that can easily be changed with DIY.

Let's get the bathroom planners involved here.

Golden fixtures would even look chic on black.

It scares me when I see a bathroom with the wall completely tiled up high.
