I wouldn't find that nice either. Especially since it would be difficult to access the shelves.

I would prefer your suggestion, however, I would position the washbasin on the window side, on the right side of the window. Then a small cabinet with a shelf under the window, so that the window can still be opened easily.

I would do it like this - with a half-high wall at the washbasin.

Washbasin to the left of the window is also impractical, the light dazzles the face and the mirror always has to be illuminated to compensate for this. Optimal for right-handers is light from the left.

Without a door I always freeze - keyword steam column. There are such nice glass showers that are easy to clean. A glass wall open at the bottom only splashes water directly in front of the door and when you go in you have to push yourself past 140 cm of glass surface with your shoulder...? That would be too tight for me.
