How steep is the roof?

Regarding freezing in the shower when a door is missing, we actually have no experience and haven't given it much thought... Could this actually be a problem?

That is a personal feeling. I don't freeze when I stand under a hot shower. So far, we only have the shower in the bathtub, which is also very open, and I never freeze there. The room is warm after all. And an open shower feels like a vacation to me.

I wouldn't plan according to the light from the window. You always have to make compromises somewhere. Often it is dark outside anyway when you are in the bathroom. And you need a proper lighting of the bathroom mirror (with or without mirror cabinet;)) anyway.

The [Bruestungshoehe] of the window is also important.

The window sill height is also important.
