Round bathtubs standing against the wall,... that was only thought up by someone who doesn't clean. :)

Hi everyone,

first of all, thanks for the quick feedback. I made 1 - 2 minor mistakes in my post that I need to correct.
- there is only one downpipe, which is located on the right side behind the knee wall
- the dashed line was the beginning of the roof slope. In the attached image, I moved it to the 2m line

:
Do you happen to have an example image of how something like that could look? I like the idea of the pedestal; it really highlights the tub nicely. I’m currently lacking the imagination for the transition to the washbasin :). I also considered possibly building a "storage compartment" into the knee wall, like in the attached image.
I tried to incorporate your ideas into a new draft.

: I also like the idea of extending the washbasin under the windowsill. You could possibly provide open compartments underneath for towels, etc. In that case, a long "worktop" with two mounted washbasins would probably make the most sense, right?

Is it generally better to change the door hinge so that when opening, the toilet is concealed and you have a view of the beautiful shower + glass wall on the right side?

Many thanks for your support!!

Moritz

Hi ! The planned bathtub is not supposed to be completely round, but like in the attached picture, designed as a built-in bathtub. I also only find a completely round tub sensible if you can properly clean behind it, so I totally agree with you :)
Best regards
Moritz

I would do it like this - with a half-height wall to the washbasin.

Hi ,

the washbasin is currently located in this position as well. However, we want to separate the shower on the right side with a large glass panel and leave it open at the "bottom" (hence the relatively large shower area of 90x140cm, to prevent too much water from splashing out :) ). Our current shower is an absolute cleaning obstacle with many corners, hinges, gaps, etc., and we therefore want to avoid doors as much as possible in the future. The washbasin would be in the way in that position then...
